Job Details

Join our team as an Account Management Project Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing client satisfaction by resolving issues related to delivery, rebates, credits, and contract inquiries. Utilizing the extensive support resources at Cencora, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure smooth operations. In this dynamic position, you will also source data and generate insightful reports to support customer initiatives and projects, making a meaningful impact on our clients' success.

This position is remote supporting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, located at:

3401 Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend or evening hours as needed for emergent business needs.

The Dedicated Account Specialist responds to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia requests for issue resolution, including delivery, rebate, credits, and contract inquiries, while utilizing Cencora support resources. This role sources data and generates reports to support customer initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, engaging at all levels including senior management.
  • Understanding customer-specific nuances and ensuring internal teams are aligned.
  • Providing dedicated support, acting as liaison and escalation point for the health system.
  • Serving as SME for Cencora Ordering platforms and related report generation.
  • Partnering with external and internal stakeholders to align business goals.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to establish reporting timelines and review metrics.
  • Participating in service compliance training and completing all required training on time.
  • Updating stakeholders on issue resolution status and reviewing reports for opportunities.
  • Participating in projects focused on savings initiatives and clinical solutions.
  • Communicating effectively with management to understand needs and drive retention and growth.
  • Managing metrics such as contract compliance, 340B savings, quarterly reviews, and opportunity reports.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, pharmacy technician, supply chain, or related field.
  • Pharmacy technician certification and/or experience as a pharmaceutical buyer preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare finance or pharmacy.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer relations skills.
  • Excellent follow-up, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Good understanding of U.S. health systems and Cencora’s support network.
  • Basic business acumen, including financial data interpretation.
  • Proactive mindset with critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables), PowerBI, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
