Job Details

Join our team as an Account Management Project Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing client satisfaction by resolving issues related to delivery, rebates, credits, and contract inquiries. Utilizing the extensive support resources at Cencora, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure smooth operations. In this dynamic position, you will also source data and generate insightful reports to support customer initiatives and projects, making a meaningful impact on our clients' success.

This Position is remote supporting:

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

3401 Civic Center Boulevard

Philadelphia, PA 19104

Normal Working Hours are:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend or evening hours as needed for emergent business needs.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Respond to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia requests for issue resolution, including delivery, rebate, credits, and contract inquiries, utilizing Cencora support resources where necessary.
  • Source data and generate reports to support customer initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships, engaging at all levels, including senior management, to drive a positive experience.
  • Ensure internal teams understand customer-specific nuances to align service delivery effectively.
  • Provide dedicated support, act as a liaison, and manage escalation points for the health system, including onboarding, offboarding, and process changes.
  • Serve as the SME for Cencora Ordering platforms and related report generation and interpretation, discussing new features and enhancements with customers.
  • Partner with external and internal stakeholders to align and track business goals.
  • Meet with stakeholders to establish reporting timelines and review progress.
  • Participate in required service compliance training and complete all training on schedule.
  • Provide regular updates on resolved issues and critical back-ordered items, analyzing reports for opportunities and summarizing data for leadership review.
  • Participate in projects aimed at cost-saving initiatives such as GPO, contract, and inventory optimization.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management to understand needs, maximize retention and growth, and update on initiatives.
  • Manage metrics including contract compliance, 340B savings, quarterly reviews, and savings opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:

Broad training in pharmaceutical purchasing, pharmacy technician, supply chain, or similar fields, typically through a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Pharmacy technician certification or experience as a pharmaceutical buyer is highly preferred. Usually requires 2+ years in a pharmacy or healthcare finance setting.

  • Excellent customer relations and follow-up skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and time management capabilities.
  • Understanding of the U.S. health system segment.
  • Knowledge of Cencora Solutions support network.
  • Basic business acumen, including financial data interpretation and customer account management.
  • Proactive mindset with critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables).
  • Experience with dashboards and CRM tools like PowerBI and Salesforce.
