Job summary

Brex is seeking an Account Executive to manage a dedicated pipeline of YC founders, engaging with founders across current and recent batches. The role is based in San Francisco in a hybrid environment with in-office and remote work options.

You will own a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, building relationships in the YC community and establishing Brex as the preferred startup banking and spend partner.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a B2B SaaS closing or partnerships role.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota or top performance.
• Comfortable running discovery and closing conversations with C-suite decision makers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Close net new business with a focus on YC-backed companies.
• Embed yourself in the YC community and build relationships with founders and co-founders.
• Build a personal brand presence within the YC ecosystem as the go-to resource for startup banking and spend.
• Network directly with founders and co-founders to build trust and generate pipeline ahead of formal sales motions.
• Engage with businesses at all points of the sales cycle, including prospecting, demos, onboarding, and closing.
• Develop strategic plans on how to close more companies and drive revenue growth.
• Focus on self-development with daily training and enablement.
• Source the current YC batch to build pipeline early.
• Collaborate with Partnerships team to shape strategy and approach for each batch.
