About the role:

We’re building a world-class Sales team at Airbase, powered by Paylocity! We are committed to finding new customers and helping them realize the full potential of Airbase. We’re looking for an experienced FinTech sales professional who will be responsible for growing our client base with a focus on our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), which falls within the 100+ employee range. You are committed to the success of the enterprise customer and love a challenge! The ideal candidate for our team will have a proven track record in B2B SaaS, a strong understanding of the fintech landscape and a willingness to embrace fast-paced technology companies. What you will do:

  • Consult with Finance leaders (CFOs, Controllers, VPs, Directors) to help them achieve full visibility and better control over all non-payroll company spend.
  • Source, progress and close new accounts through a consultative and insight driven sales approach.
  • Prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and other events to promote Paylocity services.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for your territory.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to refine and build the go-to-market strategies, product pitch and ideal customer profile.
  • Provide valuable input into the product roadmap and be the voice of the customer for the product management and engineering teams.

Skills you bring to the role:

  • Proven success of 2 to 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in selling to companies in the FinTech space.
  • Exceptional technical aptitude; passion for understanding our technology and communicating its benefits to both technical and non-technical prospects.
  • Strong interest in B2B SaaS and the greater financial ecosystem.
  • Have prior experience working at fast growth companies.
  • Have demonstrated pipeline building capabilities along with success in building both internal and external referral channels.
  • Strong presentation presence and product demonstration skills.
  • Self-starting attitude with high level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Are growth minded and have the grit and attention to detail to be successful.

Additional Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent required. College degree strongly desired
  • Travel to various locations as required, including prospective clients and company office locations. May include overnight travel by automobile or plane.
  • Represent the company at conferences, client meetings, industry events to build relationships and gather market insights.
  • Mobility required for sitting, standing and walking
  • Mobility required for driving to prospective client sites

The pay range for this position is $57,900-$107,500/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for our variable commission plan, annual bonus, and restricted stock until grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location. Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements.
