Job Overview

This role aims to meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives by supporting your team in acquiring accounts across multiple geographic territories. The role may eventually involve owning a geographic territory. The incumbent will sell products, services, and solutions to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. They will analyze customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, tailoring recommendations to negotiate and close deals.

NOTE: Though listed as "remote," the candidate must reside within the territory as this is a field sales role. The territory includes the Baltimore Metro area—Northern Baltimore County down to PG County/Lahham area.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Under sales manager supervision, generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  2. Identify customer needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services using solution-based selling. Recommend wireless solutions regarding price plans, data, enhanced services, handsets, and accessories.
  3. Negotiate and close deals.
  4. Work with leadership to develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management. Participate in training and sales meetings.
  5. Develop creative sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  6. Utilize all sales automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools. Manage the sales funnel and generate reports on sales activities and forecasts.
  7. Perform other duties/projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required); Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment (Required)
  • Task Management: Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment (Required)
  • Customer Service: Proven experience in delivering superior service (Required)
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral skills (Required)
  • Negotiation: Effective closing skills (Required)
  • Proposal Writing: Experience in preparing and following up on proposals (Preferred)

Travel Required: Yes

Compensation

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $71,800 - $129,400 (including incentives). Base Pay Range: $43,080 - $77,640. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience. For specific pay based on location, visit this link.
