Job Overview

This role will meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives by supporting your team in acquiring accounts within multiple geographic territories, with the opportunity to own a geographic territory. The incumbent will sell products, services, and solutions to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. The role involves analyzing customer needs and applying solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, tailoring customer recommendations to negotiate and close business.

NOTE: Though listed as "remote," the candidate must reside within the territory as it is a field sales role. Territory includes Baltimore Metro area—Northern Baltimore County down to PG County/Lahham area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, recommending solutions regarding price plans, data, handsets, accessories, and other services.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management through training and sales meetings.
  • Devise creative sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Utilize sales automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools effectively. Manage sales funnel and generate reports on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned by management.
Education
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Work Experience
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Task Management: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment with high multi-tasking demands (Required)
  • Customer Service: Proven experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail (Required)
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Required)

  • Proposal Writing: Experience preparing and delivering proposals and quotations (Preferred)

Other requirements include being at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and willingness to travel.

Compensation and Benefits

The total target cash pay range is $71,800 - $129,400, including incentives. Base pay ranges from $43,080 - $77,640, depending on various factors. Employees in retail and sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly incentives.
