Job Overview

This role will meet and exceed monthly sales quotas by supporting your team in acquiring accounts across multiple geographic territories, with the opportunity to own a territory. The incumbent will sell products, services, and solutions to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. They will analyze customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, tailoring recommendations to negotiate and close deals.

NOTE: Though listed as "remote," candidates must reside within the territory as this is a field sales role. The territory includes Baltimore Metro area — Northern Baltimore County down to PG County/Lahham area.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
  2. Identify customer needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Recommend solutions regarding plans, data, devices, and accessories.
  3. Negotiate and close deals.
  4. Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management through training and sales meetings.
  5. Devise creative sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  6. Use all sales automation and prospecting tools to manage the sales funnel and generate activity reports.
  7. Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Education
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Work Experience
  • At least 1 year of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Task Management: Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment (Required)
  • Customer Service: Experience delivering superior service (Required)
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written skills (Required)
  • Negotiation: Effective closing skills (Required)
  • Proposal Writing: Experience in preparing and following up on proposals (Preferred)

Additional requirements include being at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and willingness to travel as needed. The pay range is $71,800 - $129,400 total target cash, with a base pay range of $43,080 - $77,640, depending on location and experience. For specific pay details based on location, visit this link.
