Under general direction, sell and service eyewear products by managing existing accounts and developing new prospects across various industries. Utilize a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products, and marketing techniques to achieve market share growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop creative sales strategies to contact prospects, create opportunities, and increase revenue.
  2. Cultivate and develop strong business relationships with both current and prospective customers.
  3. Represent the eyewear line of business in all sales activities.
  4. Work independently, leveraging team and partner support to exceed sales quotas and achieve balanced product line results.
  5. Apply innovative ideas and solutions to address customer business problems by understanding their needs.
  6. Maintain current knowledge of existing and new products and services to ensure accurate information sharing.
  7. Identify and communicate future customer requirements and feedback to relevant divisions.
  8. Act as a liaison between VSP departments and customers to ensure service levels meet expectations.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to address customer needs and analyze market data.
  10. Utilize sales automation systems for inquiries, record maintenance, and report preparation.
Job Specifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three+ years of sales experience with demonstrated account management and customer relationship skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and revenue goals with small to medium accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop B2B relationships effectively.
  • Highly adaptable, resilient, and open to new ideas.
  • Resourceful team player with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Innovative problem-solver capable of generating workable solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple sales opportunities effectively.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with minimal supervision.
  • Must be willing to travel over 50% of the time.
  • Clean driving record.
