Summary
Job Description

The Account Executive – RFS will be responsible for existing account management activities and new account sales. The AE will identify and develop new customer business for Ryder Fuel Services (RFS) in collaboration with RFS management. The AE will facilitate research and prospecting of new customers, develop an industry network, and educate/develop prospects' perception of RFS services. The AE will support existing customer service and marketing efforts, understanding competitive influences and risks.

Essential Functions
  1. Sales Activity – Represent RFS services, collaborate with management, accounting, and operations to facilitate contracts and close deals supporting RFS growth. Interface with Ryder Sales Teams to identify synergies for expanding services.
  2. Customer Experience – Work with RFS team to increase supplemental sales opportunities, create relationships with stakeholders, leverage resources to expand opportunities, support account onboarding, and ensure customer orientation.
  3. Business Development – Identify prospects, understand customer needs, develop proposals, plan sales activities to meet revenue targets, respond proactively to leads, and align messaging with operations.
  4. Administrative Support – Maintain prospect profiles, facilitate marketing efforts, support RFS presence, and perform necessary administrative functions.
  5. Continuous Improvement – Evaluate sales skills, enhance industry knowledge, and identify growth needs.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Understand how RFS solutions can be customized to meet customer needs.
  • Adhere to Ryder’s Policies and Procedures, including Travel and Expense Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 3+ years in downstream fueling or facilities operations, support, maintenance, and compliance (Required)
  • 2+ years in sales or related customer service experience (Preferred)
  • Understanding of RFS's products and financial drivers (Required)
