Join to apply for the Account Executive - Ryder Fuel Services (RFS) - REMOTE role at Ryder System, Inc.

Summary

The Account Executive – RFS will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities. The role involves researching and prospecting potential customers, developing industry networks, and educating prospects about RFS services. The AE will also support customer service and marketing efforts, understanding competitive influences and risks.

Essential Functions
  1. Sales Activity: Represent RFS services, collaborate with management, accounting, and operations to facilitate contracts, and work with Ryder Sales Teams to expand current customer services.
  2. Customer Experience: Enhance existing customer relationships, create supportive relationships with stakeholders, and onboard new accounts ensuring proper orientation.
  3. Business Development: Identify prospects, understand customer needs, prepare value-based proposals, and develop sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  4. Administrative Support: Maintain account profiles, support marketing efforts, and update the RFS team on sales activities.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance sales skills, industry knowledge, and personal growth.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Understand how RFS solutions can be tailored to meet customer needs.
  • Adhere to Ryder policies, including Travel and Expense policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in downstream fueling or facilities operations, support, maintenance, and compliance.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience or related customer support experience (preferred).
  • Understanding of RFS's product offerings and financial drivers.
