Job Summary

The Account Executive – RFS will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business. The AE will identify and cultivate new customer relationships for Ryder Fuel Services (RFS), collaborate with RFS management on research and prospecting, build industry networks, and educate prospects on RFS services. The role includes supporting current customer service and marketing efforts, understanding competitive influences, and managing risks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Activities: Represent RFS services, collaborate internally to facilitate contracts, close deals, and support growth and revenue targets. Work with Ryder Sales Teams to identify synergies for expanding services.
  2. Customer Experience: Enhance existing customer relationships, increase sales opportunities, and create strong working relationships with stakeholders. Support onboarding and ensure customer orientation.
  3. Business Development: Identify prospects, understand customer needs, prepare value-based proposals, and develop sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals. Respond proactively to inquiries and maintain messaging alignment.
  4. Administrative Support: Maintain prospect and account profiles, support marketing and educational efforts, and facilitate internal communication regarding sales activities.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve sales skills, expand industry knowledge, and identify growth opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Customize RFS solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Adhere to company policies, including travel and expense policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years in downstream fueling, facilities operations, maintenance, or compliance.

  • Understanding of RFS products and financial drivers.

Compensation

Hourly, range: $31.30 - $39.47. Compensation may be influenced by experience, education, location, and other factors. Eligible for bonuses or incentives.
