Overview
Sell Paychex's retirement plan and flexible spending account products by developing new clients and increasing the client base within the Human Resource Services organization.
Responsibilities
- Present retirement plan and flexible spending account products to decision makers and end users to close new sales, leveraging the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy.
- Schedule appointments with potential and current referral sources, including financial advisors and registered investment advisors, to secure referrals.
- Prospect using phone, mail, seminars, client visits, or local marketing programs to find new clients and referral sources.
- Analyze prospects’ needs, determine appropriate products, and refer to the relevant parties when necessary.
- Resolve client problems or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Complete and submit accurate paperwork and enter sales data into Salesforce.com for seamless service.
- Represent Paychex positively to uphold the company's reputation.
- Develop technical, competitive, and sales skills; complete SAFE examinations; participate in training to become a Senior Retirement Plan Sales Representative.
- Travel outside the territory for conferences, training, or meetings if required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Less than 1 year of relevant Paychex experience and successful completion of training/certification
- 2 years of relevant sales or sales management experience
Compensation
Range typically between $55,000 - $115,000, including base pay and commissions. Actual total compensation depends on location, skills, education, and experience.
