Job Description

The Employer Account Executive serves as the primary relationship manager for multiple employer/administrative services only (ASO) accounts. This position works directly with employer groups to optimize pharmacy spend through Prime's products and services, and drives the alignment of Health Plan, Employer and Prime's strategic goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with Plan's account and pharmacy teams, and with corresponding consultants/brokers; maintain an understanding of industry trends, account challenges, priorities, and adopted products and services to influence strategic planning.
  • Maintain and drive strategic master account plans to ensure client engagement and satisfaction; ensure cross-functional alignment and contract compliance.
  • Establish internal relationships to advocate for client interests and help drive enterprise solutions; work with Employer Account Manager to ensure service excellence.
  • Lead client meetings, including setting objectives, preparing materials, and ensuring follow-through; aim for high client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Work with account teams to maximize pharmacy spend through renewals and new product adoption.
  • Educate employer groups on industry topics, new products, and the competitive landscape; support sales processes and client interactions.
  • Manage RFP processes for renewals, including developing contract plans and analyzing contract language.
  • Document account interactions and input data into Salesforce CRM, including meeting notes, risks, decision points, next steps, and key data.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, healthcare administration, or related; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of client service experience, including 2 years in sales/account management in healthcare or pharmacy benefits.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Understanding of healthcare industry areas such as pharmacy trends and health plan benefits.
  • Ability to develop and communicate selling strategies, presentations, and proposals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including facilitating meetings, resolving conflicts, building consensus, and influencing.
  • Ability to prioritize compliance, business goals, and risks while driving initiatives.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multi-project management skills under pressure.
  • Ability to manage complex information and develop solutions.
  • Effective in a matrixed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in PBM, health plan, or healthcare sectors.
Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 40%.
  • Work outside standard hours as needed, including nights and weekends.
  • Sit, use hands, talk, hear; reach with arms; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch; lift up to 25 lbs.; see clearly.

All employees must understand, comply with, and attest to security responsibilities and legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Potential pay ranges from $94,000 to $160,000 based on experience and skills.
