Job Description
The Employer Account Executive serves as the primary relationship manager for multiple employer/administrative services only (ASO) accounts. This position works directly with employer groups to optimize pharmacy spend through Prime's products and services, and aligns Health Plan, Employer, and Prime's strategic goals and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Plan's account and pharmacy teams, consultants, and brokers; understand industry trends, challenges, and priorities to influence strategic planning.
- Maintain strategic master account plans to ensure client engagement and satisfaction; ensure contract compliance and measure key deliverables.
- Establish internal relationships to advocate for client interests and drive enterprise solutions; work with Employer Account Manager to ensure service excellence.
- Lead client meetings, prepare materials, and ensure follow-through; enhance client satisfaction and engagement through co-developed pharmacy master plans.
- Work with account teams to maximize pharmacy spend, renewals, and adoption of Prime's products and services.
- Educate employer groups on industry topics, new products, and the competitive landscape; support sales processes and client interactions.
- Manage the RFP process for renewals, including contract analysis and mitigation of conflicting terms.
- Document client interactions in Salesforce CRM, including meeting notes, dependencies, risks, and next steps.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, healthcare administration, or related field; HS diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of client service experience, including 2+ years in sales or account management within healthcare or pharmacy benefit management.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Understanding of healthcare industry and pharmacy trends.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in PBM, health plan, or healthcare sectors.
Physical Demands
- Travel up to 40%; flexible with working outside standard hours.
- Physical activities include sitting, handling, talking, hearing, reaching, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Additional Information
Salary range: $94,000 - $160,000 based on experience.
