We're looking to bring on the most brilliant minds to help further our mission of bridging the digital divide with advanced technology infrastructure that can be rapidly deployed anywhere.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced, results-driven Public Sector Account Executive to join our small but mighty State, Local, and Education (SLED) public sector sales team. As a Public Sector Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with government prospects and customers, driving sales growth, and promoting our edge computing AI solutions to the public sector vertical. Some of the target agencies this role is likely to prospect into and grow relationships with include departments of transportation, parks & wildlife, natural resources, emergency management, and public safety. To be successful in this role you must have a hunter mindset and a strong sense of ownership and creativity while caring deeply about Armada's mission. Location. ResponsibilitiesProspect and Generate LeadsIdentify and target potential customersConduct market research to understand client needs and preferencesSales and Relationship BuildingCollaborate with prospects and existing clients to understand their unique challengesPromote our edge computing AI solutions and demonstrate how they can address client needsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisorSales Presentations and DemonstrationsDeliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to potential clientsDemonstrate the business value of our solutions effectivelySales Funnel ManagementMaintain an organized and up-to-date sales funnel, tracking prospects and opportunitiesPrepare and present sales reports to the sales managerNegotiation and ClosingEngage in negotiations and work towards successful deal closuresCollaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targetsCustomer SupportProvide excellent customer support to clients, addressing their inquiries and ensuring their satisfactionMarket IntelligenceStay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologiesTravel (up to 50%) for onsite meetings with customers / partners, to attend industry events, and to meet with internal teamQualifications10+ Years of Sales experience, especially in SaaS, Hardware, and AI-related technology to U.S. public sector customersExperience working with and selling through a variety of distribution and partner channelsDeep understanding of government budgeting, procurement processes, and contract vehiclesExperience working in government for a firsthand understanding of government agency operations preferred Track record of consistently overachieving quota as evidenced by awards, promotions, etc.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independentlyAbility to adapt to a fast-paced startup environmentBachelor's degree in Business, or a related field (preferred).Citizenship RequirementsFor select roles, due to the nature of our clientele and the technologies involved, there may be specific nationality or citizenship indicated in the required qualifications section.
