About the Role

Our Account Executives are vital in our Field Sales organization. Focused on net new revenue, they drive Workday’s new customer growth. These professionals guide new customers to transition from legacy platforms to our enterprise management cloud. We partner with our customers to craft solutions that provide lasting value, ensuring they are satisfied from day one and beyond.

In this role, you will:

  1. Develop strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in your territory.
  2. Plan accounts collaboratively with pre-sales and other teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  3. Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions to large enterprise prospects, sharing our value propositions.
  4. Maintain accurate customer, prospect, pipeline, and forecast data.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C-level executives in a field sales role.
  • Experience negotiating deals with various C-Suite Executives to close opportunities.
  • Experience selling to Public Sector / Public Services.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience generating and developing leads within your territory using a programmatic approach.
  • A proven track record in high-velocity sales cycles, including prospecting for opportunities.
  • Understanding industry trends and customer needs to position Workday solutions effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams on account strategies.
