What you'll do

As the Public Sector Account Executive (AE), you will focus on selling Docusign’s Contract Lifecycle Management solution (CLM), owning deals from start to finish. You will develop and close new business or expand current customer relationships in an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a curious, strategic hunter with strong relationship-building skills.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President, Enterprise.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive success of the company’s CLM product goals through achieving sales quotas.
  2. Cultivate relationships with ecosystem partners like Salesforce and System Integrators to generate pipeline.
  3. Qualify sales opportunities based on Docusign’s sales methodology.
  4. Identify and close on new CLM business; explore upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts across various lines of business.
  5. Leverage internal resources such as Senior Executives, Presales, and Legal teams in sales campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with partners to deliver joint value propositions.
  7. Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately using sales tools.

Job Designation

Remote: Employees work from a designated remote location and are not required to be in an office frequently.

Job designations are role-specific and may change based on business needs.

What you bring

Basic

  • 5+ years of multi-solution software sales experience into Enterprise accounts, managing complex sales cycles, with a proven record of meeting/exceeding quotas.

Preferred

  • 10+ years SaaS sales experience, especially in Public Sector.
  • Experience selling SaaS/web-based products/services and CLM solutions.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and over-achieving quotas.

Wage Transparency

Pay varies by location, with ranges provided for California, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, New Jersey, New York, and Washington DC.
