What you'll do

The Enterprise CLM Account Executive is responsible for building enterprise-level relationships, selling Docusign’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and AI solutions. This role involves working with internal teams and partners, owning deals end-to-end, and acquiring net-new customers as well as expanding existing accounts. The ideal candidate is curious, a strategic hunter, and skilled at relationship building.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President, Enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Drive success of CLM and AI product goals through achieving sales quotas.
  • Cultivate relationships with ecosystem partners such as Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP, and System Integrators to generate pipeline.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on Docusign’s sales methodology.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close on new CLM business, and explore upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Leverage internal resources (e.g., Senior Executives, Presales, Legal) in sales campaigns.
  • Collaborate with peers and partners to move deals from pipeline to signature.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately using sales tools.

Job Designation

Remote: Employees work primarily from a remote location. Job designations (In Office, Hybrid, Remote) are role-specific and subject to change based on business needs.

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and meeting quotas.
  • Willing to travel 25% or more as needed.

Preferred

  • 12+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally in team selling environments.
  • Experience closing large, complex deals and managing Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Strong C-Level contacts across large enterprises.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite.
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management, Legal Tech, AI solutions, or related technologies.
  • Based in Chicago or Northeast/Southeast US.

Wage Transparency

Pay varies by location and is based on factors like experience and skills. For example, in California, the range is $114,400 - $172,100; in Illinois and Colorado, $113,500 - $164,650; and in the NY/NJ/DC areas, $113,500 - $165,850.

  • Variable incentive pay based on sales goals.
