Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. in Dallas is seeking a renewal-focused professional to manage end-to-end renewals for a book of business valued at $900k–$2M. You will lead strategic reviews, develop game plans, and collaborate with producers to win new business as needed.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and industry knowledge, with responsibilities spanning client strategy, marketing, and market negotiations. Travel may be required for key client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall responsibility of renewals with Producers for existing accounts
  • Support in winning new business and setting up new accounts
  • Understand clients' operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year
  • Kick off renewal with game plan and coverage analysis
  • Prepare for and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and clients
  • Craft marketing strategies, review submissions, and negotiate with underwriters
  • Pursue mastery of industry trends and products
  • Manage a book of business with revenue of $900k–$2M
  • Lead three or more large/complex client accounts
  • Spend 5–10% of time supporting producers in new business

Job description

Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

  • Maintains overall responsibility of the entire renewal with the Producer (policy review, setting the game plan, loss analysis, program design, data completeness within AMS, coverage & premium discrepancy issues, etc.) for all existing accounts
  • Supports in winning new business and set up of new accounts
  • Maintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year
  • Kicks‑off the client renewal process by creating the Game Plan and completing a coverage analysis (if applicable) and conducting thorough reviews of the policies and all relevant documents
  • Prepares for and facilitates meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clients
  • Crafts the marketing strategies, reviews submissions, and engages in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposals
  • Pursues mastery of the craft through on‑going education and awareness of industry trends, products, and services
  • Manages a book of business with $900k - 2 Million in revenue
  • Plays a lead role on three or more large/complex client accounts
  • Spends 5-10% of time supporting producers in winning new business

Required Experience and Skills include but are not limited to:

  • Experience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of business
  • Ability to think strategically based on client’s priorities and marketplace cycle
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience leading and developing people
  • Ability to delegate and hold team & partners accountable
  • Experience working within Applied Epic preferred
  • Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Travel may be required when necessary
  • Maintains increased technical knowledge both insurance industry and book of client’s industry
