Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking an Account Executive in the Business Insurance unit to manage client relationships, perform coverage analyses and risk management, and drive growth. You will negotiate with carriers, prepare proposals, and resolve billing issues while mentoring junior staff.

This Hybrid role offers a base salary range with strong benefits and the opportunity to work across a nationally recognized organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) + years' experience in Business Insurance.
• License in Property & Casualty required.
• Insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM, AU) or equivalent knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.

A day in the life.

As our Account Executive on the Business Insurance team, you will manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth. Providing coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, preparing proposals, and resolving billing issues will be part of your day-to-day. You will also mentor our Client Service Associates by developing their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,400 to $172,100.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis.
