- Location is flexible; South Florida would be ideal.
- Ability to broker complex and catastrophic-type projects, with a strong focus on real estate development projects for sale and rent.
- Specializes in builder’s risk (BR), not just property, with a significant BR focus. We seek a dedicated professional, not a dabbler.
- Actively brokers deals 50% of the time and leads others in broking deals the remaining 50%.
- Manage BR pipeline of projects and deals for the Series.
- Responsible for BR benchmarking and indications.
- Works closely with our analytic modeling team.
- Experienced in lender negotiations.
- Familiar with London and Bermuda markets.
- Ability to lead a team of 1-2 people, now or in the future.
- Maintains and enhances Lockton’s relationships with existing clients through proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
- Proactively understands client requirements and needs.
- Provides strategic planning and consulting advice, including RFP production, vendor response coordination, analysis, and client reporting.
- Consults with clients on investment options, vendor services, fees, strategies, and goals.
- Reviews large claims, abnormal utilization, and monthly claims experience with clients.
- Reviews and assists with profitability on fee-at-risk proposals.
- Helps establish and attain revenue goals for existing and new business.
- Contributes to policy and procedure development, as well as strategic planning within the area of expertise.
- Develops relationships with carriers, broker networks, and other providers.
- Oversees issue resolution between clients and vendors.
- Coordinates market selection for new and renewal business.
- Initiates and duplicates new business report activities.
- Generates new business through cross-selling.
- Negotiates program terms and costs.
- Assists with administrative activities, including claims and loss control support services.
- Provides training and mentorship to junior staff.
- Researches industry trends, product development, and regulations.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 7 years of client services experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of industry trends and government regulations.
- Ability to complete ongoing education requirements.
- Availability to attend meetings and industry training.
