We are actively seeking an Account Executive to curate new business for Inman’s regional event series, Inman on Tour, and our flagship event, Blueprint, which focuses on innovation and investment in real estate, construction, and the built environment. The ideal candidate possesses a background as a BDR or SDR with experience owning the full sales cycle and working across multiple events. This is a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate new client relationships through a high volume of sales activity
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for events (sponsorships and exhibitors), including Inman on Tour regional events and Blueprint
  • Comprehend the unique value propositions of potential clients and tailor sponsorships to meet their objectives
  • Ensure clients are well-informed about Inman’s comprehensive suite of offerings and how our events can effectively reach their target audience
  • Develop and present compelling sales proposals to win new business
  • Work closely with demand generation, operations and event planning teams to ensure successful event execution and client satisfaction

Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience as an SDR or BDR across the event sponsorships
  • Domain expertise in real estate events or a demonstrated ability to swiftly grasp new verticals
  • Experience developing a robust pipeline and closing new logos
  • Capable of providing strategic guidance to clients to maximize their return on investment
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • A discerning problem solver, capable of independent critical thinking within a remote team environment
  • Comfortable with learning new technologies
  • Adept at managing sponsorship agreements
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Ability to maintain accurate and updated records of contacts and sales pipeline
