Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Dreeze is seeking an Account Executive to help define a new category and close mid-enterprise customers using a cloud-native SaaS Backup & Disaster Recovery platform. You will build credibility with technical and executive buyers, evangelize the solution, and shape GTM motion in a fast-moving market.
You will own the full sales cycle, develop a repeatable process, and contribute to pricing and packaging decisions while maintaining professional integrity and urgency in a high-ambition environment.
We’re a well-funded, stealth-mode startup on a mission to fix a deep technical challenge with a real customer pain.
Backed by top-tier investors and 3rd time serial founders, we’re assembling a founding team of engineers to build from zero with ambition, clarity, and speed.
You will be one of the first Account Executives at our company, helping define a new category while selling to mid-enterprise customers running production workloads on Amazon Web Services, with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud to follow. You'll be joining at a stage where the market is just beginning to emerge, the messaging is still evolving, and your input will help shape the go-to-market playbook. This role is challenging by design - ideal for someone who thrives on building, influencing, and winning where there isn’t already a proven path.
This role is challenging by design -
ideal for someone who thrives on building, influencing, and winning where there isn’t already a proven path.
You will encounter:
Skepticism about product maturity
Objections with no canned answers
Deals that stall for reasons outside your control
The need to build credibility without clear brand recognition
The requirement to evangelize what we do - this is not a new category but getting people to solve it differently
We are looking for someone who sees those challenges as fuel and who can pursue deals aggressively while maintaining professionalism with technical and executive buyers.
Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to close for mid/large enterprise accounts (1000+ employees).
Sell a cloud-native SaaS Backup & Disaster Recovery platform protecting AWS workloads (EC2, EBS, RDS, S3, etc.).
Run disciplined discovery focused on risk, resilience, compliance, and operational impact, not feature checklists.
Create pipeline primarily through your network of relationships with customers and partners. Inbound will grow over time but is not a primary pipeline builder initially.
Navigate complex sales cycles without losing urgency or credibility.
Identify obstacles in deals and proactively work around them - technical gaps, buyer confusion, internal blockers.
Handle objections about early-stage product maturity with honesty, confidence, and strong value framing.
Bring structured customer feedback to product and leadership.
Influence pricing, packaging, messaging, and ICP definition.
Help build the first sales processes, talk tracks, and win stories.
Sell with urgency without being reckless.
Push deals forward without overselling or misrepresenting the roadmap.
Communicate clearly and confidently with IT Infrastructure teams, Cloud Architects, DevOps, Security, Finance and IT leadership.
Earn trust by being prepared, direct, and respectful of the buyer’s time.
You’ve succeeded in early-stage, ambiguous, or difficult sales environments.
You don’t need perfect conditions to perform.
You can take a "no" without ego-and turn it into insight.
You are comfortable selling technical value to technical buyers.
You are persistent, competitive, and driven—but grounded and professional.
You take accountability for outcomes, not excuses.
You have a clear path to speak directly with customers and partners that will trust your guidance
Close 12+ new logos across Mid/Large Enterprise customers.
Built repeatable sales motion in a noisy, evolving market.
Established credibility with skeptical buyers.
Contributed materially to product and GTM strategy.
Became a trusted partner to founders, product, and customers.
