The sales team is expanding, and this Account Executive role exists to drive new business development across a growing customer base. You'll be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new accounts while managing the full lifecycle of those relationships.

Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, trusted sources, and direct outreach to prospects
Negotiate with customers to secure profitable rates, terms, and sustainable relationships
Manage load entry, tracking, reporting, and account activity within internal systems
Coordinate with operations to understand carrier capacity, equipment needs, and logistics requirements
Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring they feel supported and valued
Work collaboratively with teammates to solve problems creatively and close deals
Take ownership of your accounts and work to continuously improve your speed and effectiveness
Self-starter mentality: you're comfortable operating independently while staying connected to the team
Strong communication skills: you'll interact with customers, internal teams, and operational partners with clarity and professionalism

Location: The team has recently relocated to a new office in the West End, St. Louis Park Area
Compensation: Strong base salary + benefits on day one. Expected average 1st year compensation between 55k to 70k (highest achievers earn more as there is uncapped commissions)
Work environment: 5 days a week in-office. Hours are flexible (7 AM–4 PM or 8 AM–5 PM).
