About the Role

Canon USA is seeking a Copier Account Executive (Executive, Technical Sales) for the Mid-West region. The role involves developing strategies to increase sales with key decision-makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and end users, promoting strong business relationships with assigned dealers and their branches while maintaining high ethical standards. Effective communication with Fortune 500 executives—including CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs—is essential to present sales strategies, ROI analyses, and technical workflow solutions. Additional responsibilities include managing dealer accounts and territories, coordinating product launches and updates, organizing events and tradeshows, and resolving routine issues within company policies.

Position Details
  • This is a full-time, virtual position. The office operates 5 days a week, but reporting to the office is not required unless necessary. Work schedules and reporting requirements may change based on business needs.
Your Impact
  1. Develop strategies to increase sales with key decision-makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and End Users.
  2. Communicate effectively with Fortune 500 customers, including CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs, presenting sales strategies, ROI, and technical analyses.
  3. Assist the Dealer Sales Channel and End Users with technical knowledge to analyze and recommend hardware and software solutions.
  4. Manage dealer accounts, territories, marketing programs, and support activities.
  5. Conduct introductory sales calls and support proposal development and bids.
  6. Coordinate product launches and updates with dealers.
  7. Manage coordination of events and tradeshows.
  8. Make decisions within established policies and practices, applying professional expertise to resolve routine issues.
  9. Maintain working knowledge of company products and services.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Experience in copier sales / A3 market is required.
  • Experience with B2B retail sales, copier dealers, or manufacturers is preferred.
  • Experience selling directly to end users is required.
  • Certifications like CompTIA CDIA/CDIA+ and Network+ are a plus.
  • 5+ years in sales/support with industry-related experience.
  • Willingness to travel over 75% in the Northeast or Mid-West.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
Additional Information

Salary range: $69,300 - $103,770 annually, plus commissions. This role offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
