Job summary

Vericast in San Antonio, TX, with remote options, is seeking an Account Director to lead strategic client relationships, drive measurable marketing outcomes, and shape a high-performing performance agency model.

The role partners with client executives to understand business goals, translate them into integrated marketing strategies, and align internal teams around execution, service quality, retention, and growth for a portfolio of clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in client services, agency leadership, marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years leading strategic client relationships with senior/executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to grow, retain, and expand client accounts.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing, analytics, and campaign optimization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow senior-level client relationships across assigned accounts.
• Lead strategic planning, business reviews, renewal discussions, and executive client conversations.
• Translate client objectives into actionable marketing strategies focused on measurable results.
• Partner with account management, creative, media, analytics, reporting, data, operations, sales, and finance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand services, deepen client value, improve performance, and grow revenue.
• Monitor account health, client sentiment, delivery quality, profitability, and retention risk.
• Serve as the escalation point for significant client issues and lead proactive resolution plans.
• Mentor account team members and strengthen agency operating practices, governance, and client engagement standards.
