Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking an Account Development Engineer to support a plant producing custom thin film microelectronic components.

You will combine applications support, estimating, and customer collaboration to turn opportunities into manufacturable orders, owning quotations and coordinating with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations. You will work directly with customer engineers and manufacturing specialists to learn precision thin film processes and

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in technical estimating and applications/manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong cost analysis and quotation accuracy focus.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Understand application needs, drawings, specs, quantities, and delivery expectations before quoting.
• Assess technical feasibility and manufacturability of quotations including materials and processes.
• Collaborate with plant staff to recommend processes and assess risks.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, routing, labor, yield, tooling, and NRE.
• Develop quotations aligned with pricing guidelines and approvals.
• Coordinate priorities, lead times, and maintain records in systems.
• Partner with Sales and Product Management on quote follow-up and discussions.
