Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Hollis, NH is seeking an Account Development Engineer to support a plant producing custom thin film microelectronic components.

You will own quotations, work with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to deliver practical, manufacturable solutions that meet customer needs and drive profitable growth. You will gain exposure to precision thin film processes while progressing a quotation from initial drawing to a finished product,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in technical estimating and applications/manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and assess producibility.
• Strong cost analysis, quoting, and documentation skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.

Mansioni

• Understand application needs, drawings, and delivery expectations with customers and Sales.
• Assess technical feasibility and manufacturability of quotes (materials, substrates, tolerances, testing).
• Collaborate with plant specialists to propose processes and design alternatives; identify risks.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, routing, labor, yield, tooling, and nonrecurring engineering; obtain approvals.
• Coordinate quotation priorities and lead times; communicate assumptions clearly.
• Follow up with Sales/Product Management on quotes; support technical discussions with customers.
• Ensure purchase orders align with quotations and hand off drawings and specs for planning and manufacturing.
• Compare estimates with actual manufacturing results and customer feedback to improve accuracy.
