This Temporary opportunity is required to cover the absences of other team members through the end of 2025 and possibly the beginning of 2026.In the event of a permanent opening during or at the end of that time frame, and presuming strong performance during the temporary employment period, a permanent offer may be extended.

Job Summary

An account coordinator supports senior account managers and account managers by providing administrative and operational support, facilitating communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction, and other duties as requested.

Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and review member contracts
  • Update QuickBase with account information
  • Coordinate meetings, calls and demos for the account management team
  • Conduct research on prospective clients
  • Clearly communicate with internal teams to ensure member vision is understood
  • Communicate member feedback to account management leadership and internal teams as appropriate
  • Perform market and competitive research
  • Assist senior account managers and others with daily tasks
  • Participate in member calls alongside an account manager

  • Familiarity with electric and broadband cooperatives a plus

Requirements
  • Proven work experience as an Account Coordinator, Account Manager or similar role
  • 1 + years of experience with marketing/advertising campaigns and promotional materials
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, communications or related field

Physical Demands
  • Sitting approximately 80% of the standard workday.
  • Standing at desk for approximately 20% of standard workday.

Travel

Travel is expected to be infrequent for this position at less than 5% of working days but may occasionally be required.

Notes
  • Compensation will be dependent on a variety of factors, including experience and geography, and will be discussed in the hiring process with leading candidate(s). Salary range is anticipated to be $19.23 - $21.64 per hour.
  • Job type: Full-time, Temporary, non-exempt (hourly), at-will, remote.
  • Limited after-hours time may be required during inclement storm situations which involve your clients such as hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms etc.

Subject to other eligibility requirements, employees working 20 hours or more per week are generally eligible for our 401(k)-retirement program through Vanguard beginning with the first of the month after six months of employment. This will be applicable to this temp position only if the same requirements are met as for our permanent employees.

Holiday and PTO

We believe that time away from work is a necessary part of a healthy lifestyle. When rested and energized, team members do better work. Pioneer provides full time staff with 12 paid holidays per year (all federal holidays plus the day after Thanksgiving), and a PTO plan that starts at an accrual rate of four weeks per year. Holiday and PTO benefits are prorated for part-time staff.

Mobile Device and Home Office Internet

For qualifying positions, Pioneer provides up to $45/month of reimbursement for mobile phone expenses and up to $50/month of taxable stipend for home office internet expenses.
