Job summary

Lockton Companies is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support client services and claims administration in Kansas City, MO. You will configure new client setups, manage reporting, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely, accurate processing of premiums and claims data.

You will maintain client data integrity, respond to client inquiries, and participate in ongoing training. A BS in business or related field and strong MS Office skills are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete continuing education requirements.
  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings, including industry training.
  • Ability to comply with policies and protect confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Monthly Claims Exhibits as needed.
  • Complete new client set-up: form, notify teams, reporting, stop loss carrier.
  • Report back action items from weekly team calls.
  • Participate in trainings and collaboration sessions.
  • Input premiums and reimbursements into Budget Projection workbook.
  • Track and manage open items and outstanding premiums/issues.
  • Audit reporting received post-placement and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with client questions by investigating issues and escalating when needed.
  • Validate and maintain up-to-date client data.
  • Complete Client Information Questionnaire and collect data for RFPs.
  • Review RFP data for accuracy and send to manager for review.
  • Update Marketing Tracker with progress.
  • Enter carrier responses into Renewal Package and Claims/Premium Experience.
  • Request Clinical Reviews for firm deliverables.
  • Complete Phase 1 of Audits and 1/1 claims reconciliations.
  • Participate in workgroups advancing practice initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understands and assists with Monthly Claims Exhibits; as needed
  • Complete new client set-up (New Form, notify teams, implement reporting, notify stop loss carrier, build folder)
  • Responsible for reporting back action items from weekly team calls
  • Engages in regularly scheduled trainings and collaboration sessions
  • Assist with inputting the premium and reimbursements for previous year into Budget Projection workbook
  • Tracks and manages all open items (outstanding premium issues, missing reporting, outstanding reimbursement updates to teams, etc.)
  • Conducts an audit of reporting received post placement
  • Assists with client questions, issues and/or problems by investigating first and then seeking confirmation from Manager
  • Responsible for ensuring client data is validated and up-to-date (contacts, etc.)
  • Completes Client Information Questionnaire based on Strategy calls and/or sends to Core team to complete
  • Collects RFP Data Request information and reviews for accuracy
  • Sends RFP to Manager for review prior to sending to market
  • Updates Marketing Tracker with progress
  • Collects, reviews and saves RFP responses with the proper naming convention in the client’s folder
  • Enters carrier responses into Renewal Package, as well as Claims and Premium Experience
  • Requests Clinical Reviews for firm deliverables
  • Assists with stop loss policy implementationCompletes Phase 1 of Audits
  • Responsible for completion of 1/1 claims policy reconciliations
  • Participates in various workgroups that push forward practice initiatives
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
