SHIFT Communications in Chicago seeks an Account Coordinator to support multiple consumer and channels clients. You will help track media trends, assist with research, and contribute to strategy, creative and omnichannel initiatives.

Ideal candidates may have internship experience, strong communication skills, and a knack for balancing fast-paced workflow with teamwork. Hybrid-friendly environment and active client engagement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Some internship experience in an agency or similar setting.
• Ridiculously strong oral and written communication.
• Organized, proactive and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
• Able to balance independent work with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Track breaking news, issues and trends for clients in media and across social media.
• Make recommendations to boost client visibility in media and social channels.
• Act as logistical coordinator to keep projects on track.
• Create client reports and attend client events as needed.
• Develop submissions to highlight client awards and opportunities.
• Write media alerts, pitches, and social content.
