Job summary

SHIFT is seeking an Account Coordinator to join the Chicago team, working with clients in consumer and channels practices. You’ll participate in research, strategy and omnichannel media initiatives, with an internship background in agency settings and a strong interest in media trends.

You’ll be organized, proactive, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced environment. Expect collaboration across teams, hands-on reporting, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic agency culture on hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience interning in an agency is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Interest in media, pop culture, influencers and social trends.

Responsibilities

• Track breaking news, issues and trends for clients across media and social channels.
• Recommend opportunities to improve client media presence.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure deliverables happen on time.
• Create client reports and participate in client events as needed.
• Research databases on shows, venues and awards; draft compelling submissions.
• Write media alerts, pitches, and social content.
• Prepare briefing materials and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
• Maintain current client narratives and messaging materials.
