Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections experience in healthcare insurance collections.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) system preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize urgent matters.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and effective follow-up on outstanding patient accounts.
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve billing issues and inquiries.
• Review and analyze accounts receivable reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize billing software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to track payments and update patient records.
• Collaborate with the billing team and other departments to streamline processes and optimize revenue cycle performance.
