  • Assess accommodation requests and provide recommendations that balance employee needs, business operations, and legal requirements.
  • Analyze complex accommodation scenarios, identify risks and implementation challenges, and develop practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Review medical certifications and supporting documentation to determine accommodation eligibility, effectiveness, and additional information requirements.
  • Partner with employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement approved accommodations and address accommodation-related concerns.
  • Monitor ongoing accommodations and conduct periodic reviews to ensure accommodations remain effective, appropriate, and operationally viable.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate case documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Consult, Influence & Partner

  • Provide consultative guidance to managers, HR Business Partners regarding accommodation obligations, disability compliance, return to-work strategies, and workplace inclusion practices.
  • Advise leaders on accommodation implementation, operational impacts, and potential undue hardship considerations.
  • Collaborate closely with Human Resources, Legal, Employee Relations, Leave Administration, Benefits, Occupational Health, and external vendors to ensure consistent and compliant case management.
  • Support escalated, complex, and high-risk accommodation matters requiring detailed analysis, stakeholder alignment, and strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to manager education and training initiatives designed to strengthen accommodation knowledge and disability inclusion practices.

Drive Compliance & Program Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with the ADA, FMLA, PWFA, PUMP Act, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain accommodation tracking systems, case files, and documentation with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analyze accommodation trends, produce reports, monitor key metrics, and recommend process improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Assist with audits, policy development, training initiatives, and special projects that strengthen accommodation and disability management programs.
  • Stay informed of legislative and regulatory developments impacting workplace accommodations and disability management practices.

What You Bring Required Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, investigative, case management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive situations professionally, objectively, and confidentially.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications
