Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking an Accommodation Coordinator to guide employees through the accommodations process, ensuring timely and accurate handling in compliance with ADA and company policies.

You will be the primary contact for administration of accommodation claims, coordinate documentation, and liaise with HR, COE, and employees, maintaining confidentiality and delivering a positive end-user experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• 1+ years of HR experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and HR systems.

As an Accommodation Coordinator at Spectrum, you will guide employees through the accommodations process, ensuring their requests are processed accurately and efficiently in compliance with ADA and company policies. Your work will be critical in upholding service standards and delivering a smooth, supportive experience for every employee.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Provide excellent customer responsiveness to communications received from Human Resources (HR), HR Center of Excellence (COE) staff and employees
• Serve as a primary point of contact for administration of accommodation claims
• Inform employee of documentation required to process accommodation claims, required time frames, and claims status either by phone, written correspondence and/or claims system
• Request medical information to determine if the employee meets the requirements under federal ADA, state, and/or Spectrum requirements for a qualifying condition
• Demonstrate the highest degree of accuracy, courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues and routine HR questions
• Update the case management system with transaction specific information and supporting documentation; maintain expertise to navigate and accurately record information with several business systems/applications including HR data (Oracle), case management tracking and vendor websites
• Apply knowledge of HR programs, policies, Benefit plans, to quickly resolve customer issues or concerns; elevate issues in a timely manner to ensure an effective end user experience while remaining engaged in resolving the issue
• Refer cases as appropriate to Accommodation Specialist
• Manage time effectively to ensure customer satisfaction results and adherence to Service Level Agreements

Working Conditions

• Office environment
• Must be able to work the hours between 8am-6:30pm EST, Monday-Friday
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Required Qualifications

Education

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, related field; or equivalent work experience

Experience

• 1+ years of human resources experience

Skills

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to problem solve in a high-volume, production-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and Word
• High level of analytical and interpretive skills
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work in a team environment
