Job summary

Aperture LLC, a national collection of forensic engineering firms, seeks a Forensic Expert – Accident Reconstruction Expert to join our multi-disciplinary team in Texas. You will investigate vehicles and accident scenes, analyze data, and create replicas to support theories of causation and injuries.

You will use 3D scanning, drones, and software to measure evidence, calculate forces and velocities, and clearly communicate findings for reports and potential testimony.

Qualifications

• College degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience reconstructing injury-producing incidents to evaluate liability.
• Experience with dynamic testing, data collection or data analysis.
• Technical writing abilities.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Investigate vehicles and conduct scene field investigations for a variety of accidents.
• Collect and analyze information for forensic analysis, simulation and testing.
• Utilize 3D scanning technology and software; conduct testing and data collection.
• Prepare models/replica of accident scenes with measurements and vehicle positions.
• Communicate technical findings in lay terms for clients and testimony.
• May provide expert testimony via depositions or court proceedings.
