Job summary

Aperture is seeking a Forensic Expert – Accident Reconstruction Expert to join a multi-disciplinary team in Houston, TX. You will reconstruct accidents, analyze data, and create replicas of scenes to support theories of causation and liability.

You will collect CDR data from ECM-equipped vehicles, perform tests, and utilize 3D scanning, drones, and mapping tools to build evidence. Strong writing skills and ability to testify may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; experience in reconstructing injury producing incidents preferred.
• Experience with dynamic testing, data collection or data analysis.
• Technical writing abilities and proficiency with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Investigate vehicles and conduct scene field investigations.
• Collect and analyze information for forensic analysis, simulation or testing.
• Perform inspections using 3D scanning technology and collect data.
• Utilize 3D laser scanners, aerial drones, and mapping equipment to gather evidence.
• Photograph scene evidence and analyze velocity changes during crashes.
• Prepare models/replicas of accident scenes for reports and testimony.
