Job summary

Westfield is seeking an Accident & Health Operations Manager to lead MGU onboarding, regulatory compliance, and the end-to-end integration of external program managers and fronting insurers. You will coordinate across underwriting, licensing, compliance, and operations to ensure scalable programs and efficient policy issuance.

You will own onboarding frameworks, drive process improvements, and manage day-to-day MGU relationships to support growth and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in insurance operations (Accident & Health or specialty lines) preferred.
• Experience with MGUs, delegated authority models, or third-party administrators.
• Strong knowledge of policy administration, policy lifecycle processes, and insurance operations.
• Familiarity with licensing requirements and multi-state regulatory environments.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing or leading onboarding frameworks for MGUs or program business.
• Knowledge of accident & health insurance products and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with policy administration systems and workflow tools.
• Experience with operational KPIs and service-level management.
• Strong project management and process improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the MGU onboarding strategy with standardized frameworks and best practices.
• Lead end-to-end onboarding of new MGU partners including operational readiness and system integration.
• Oversee policy issuance processes and maintain products, policies, rating structures, and forms.
• Coordinate licensing and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Manage day-to-day MGU relationships and coordinate cross-functional requests.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements to onboarding, policy issuance, and servicing workflows.
• Partner with underwriting, legal, compliance, IT, and finance to ensure cohesive program execution.
• Collaborate with finance on premium flow, reporting, and reconciliation.
