Job summary

General Motors is seeking an experienced engineer to lead and coordinate Accessory Engineering for IBP projects. You will oversee global process and engineering activities, align with Marketing IBP, and drive vehicle integration readiness.

The role requires extensive technical judgment, the ability to guide others, and a strong track record in engineering leadership and problem solving across chassis, electrical, interior, exterior domains. This is a hybrid position with a focus on innovation.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field and relevant experience; knowledge of engineering mechanics and manufacturing methods.
• Experience with DFSS and engineering release processes across multiple SMT areas.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering discussions on IBP projects and manage portfolio status.
• Review and evaluate complex engineering designs and subsystems for vehicle integration.
• Coordinate vehicle-level releases and ensure proper approvals across teams.
• Stay updated on new technology and competitive products.
