Job summary

Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired is seeking a dedicated Accessibility Coordinator to empower team members with visual impairments. You will provide individualized training, workplace support, and advocacy to help participants develop skills and independence in diverse environments.

The role blends job coaching, assistive technology guidance, and collaboration with teams to ensure equitable access and long-term job success. Reports to the Director, Accessibility Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Education, Social Work, Technology or HR.
• Experience with individuals who have visual impairments or other disabilities and willingness to learn accessibility best practices.
• Experience with accessibility coordination, mentoring and job coaching.

Responsibilities

• Accessibility Coordination: supports accommodation requests and guides accessibility integration across teams.
• Worksite Coaching: provides employment support, analyzes tasks, and develops training plans for impairments.
• Training & Support: delivers tailored instruction to support independence and skill progression.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintains case notes, progress reports, and participates in reviews.
