Robeson Community College invites applications for an Accessibility Services Coordinator/Counselor who provides counseling, career and student support services and coordinates Accessibility Services for students with disabilities. The role includes personal counseling, crisis intervention, case management and referrals, and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or closely related field required.
• Eligibility for professional counseling licensure in NC required; licensure preferred.
• Professional counseling experience in educational, clinical, community, or similar setting.
• Higher education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and referrals.
• Coordinate Accessibility Services and accommodation process for students with disabilities.
• Review disability documentation and determine eligibility for accommodations.
• Develop accommodation plans and communicate approved accommodations to faculty/staff.
• Maintain confidential Accessibility Services records and documentation.
• Provide guidance on ADA, Section 504, and related requirements.
• Coordinate interpreting services and assistive technology as needed.
• Deliver educational programming, workshops, and outreach related to assigned areas.
