Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years of experience working with students with disabilities in a college setting; Masters preferred.
• Formal training and education in disabilities services.
• Experience with diverse student populations.
• Knowledge of ADA and various learning disabilities.
• Experience with reviewing and evaluating documentation to determine accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student intake interviews and determine eligibility for accommodations.
• Identify appropriate accommodations based on disability and program requirements.
• Support implementation of accommodations with the Medical School and clinical partners.
• Provide one-on-one learning consultations and group presentations to improve academic skills.
• Engage in professional development and other projects to support the Office of Academic Support.
