Job summary

The Toledo Zoo is seeking an Accessibility and Inclusion Administrator to lead our five-year inclusion strategy and Zoo for All initiatives. This hands-on role collaborates with all departments to improve accessibility and guest experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating events and programs, maintaining accessibility resources, filing SOPs, and working with external partners. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in inclusion work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in inclusion/accessibility.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of all MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and execute the Zoo’s inclusion and accessibility strategy.
• Collaborate across Zoo departments to improve accessibility.
• Coordinate events such as Zoo for All Walks, Nights, and Inclusion Day.
• Manage programs like Summer Youth and partnerships with external agencies.
• Respond to guest inquiries and track goals for initiatives.
