Position Summary

The Access Services Specialist determines accommodation eligibility for students requesting accommodations based on disability. This role involves case management, consultant liaison with faculty and staff, analytics of student accommodation requests, record completion, coordination on accommodation memo design and updates, and community outreach.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or master’s degree or professional certification
• A degree in a relevant professional area such as special education, rehabilitation counseling, social work, or a closely related field
• Experience working in a K‑12 or higher education setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in special education, rehabilitation counseling, or social work
• Progressive experience in post‑secondary education
