Responsibilities

• Perform pre-registration and registration functions including insurance verification and authorization.
• Register patients and visitors for Radiology services, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and efficiency.
• Maintain smooth workflow in assigned department registration areas and cover multiple Radiology locations as needed.
• Provide superior customer service and assist patients in navigating the registration process.

Under direction, maintains a smooth workflow within the assigned department registration areas. Oversees the registration process to ensure patients are registered courteously, confidentially, efficiently, accurately. Interview patient or representatives for financial and demographic data and accurately inputting information into the Hospital’s ADT/EHR computer systems. Perform pre-registration and registration functions including but not limited to insurance verification and authorization.
