Job summary

ACE Parking is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair, service and program parking and building access control systems across San Diego County. You will work on parking access systems, CCTV, intercoms, EV charging stations and related equipment while delivering reliable customer service.

The role requires technical skills with low voltage wiring, read blueprints and drawings, and on-call rotation. A California driver’s license, safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with IT systems, low voltage wiring, access control systems, video surveillance and intercom systems.
• Knowledgeable of mechanical systems installation, programming, service and maintenance.
• Experience using hand tools and electric power tools.
• Able to read and understand Plans, Manuals and Technical Specifications.
• Strong computer skills. Knowledgeable experience with office computer networking and MS Windows PC/Server configuration.
• Proficient with MS Office software products: Word/Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, service and maintain access systems including CCTV, intercoms and EV charging stations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and specifications.
• Document daily tasks and time for billing with accuracy.
• Coordinate with clients and technicians to meet project scope and deadlines.
• Ensure safety and use of low voltage hardware properly.
