  • Status: PRN (as needed)
  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Pay: Starting at $15.50/hour
Summary

This position performs tasks related to the collection and custodianship of patient information. It functions as a receptionist to support patient care delivery and follow-up.

This role reports to the Clinic Manager and Access Representative - Lead and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Responsibilities
  1. Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments with physicians and nurse practitioners. Handle check-in and check-out procedures in the clinic.
  2. Accurately enter patient data into computer systems, including registration, medical record assignment, and visit creation.
  3. Prepare release of information and consent forms for signature according to applicable laws. Send requests to other healthcare providers and coordinate receipt of additional information.
  4. Act as a communication liaison by receiving and relaying information among providers, nursing staff, patients, family members, and visitors.
  5. Ensure confidentiality of all patient, hospital, and medical staff information.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET equivalent; higher education preferred. An Associate's Degree or Business college certificate is also preferred.
  • Experience in computer data entry, customer service, collections, and medical records is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
