Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to serve as the access and coverage expert for our products. You will educate healthcare providers and staff on reimbursement pathways, prior authorization, and payer processes while coordinating with Hub and field teams to support patient access.

You will analyze payer criteria, monitor Medicare/Medicaid coverage changes, and liaise with Specialty Pharmacy Account Liaisons as needed. Travel is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience may include 1.5+ years as a field reimbursement specialist.
• 2+ years in specialty pharmaceutical medical benefit sales or 2+ years as a biologic coordinator or office practice manager.
• Experience navigating prior authorization and appeals processes for pharmacy and medical benefit coverage.
• Knowledge of commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid programs within the assigned geography.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs and office staff on reimbursement pathways, coverage requirements, PA, appeals, and payer processes.
• Analyze payer criteria and access requirements across medical and pharmacy benefit designs.
• Partner with Hub teams and Field Sales to coordinate patient access and enrollment support.
• Monitor payer coverage updates and provide reimbursement resources and education.
