Wellvance Community Mental Health Authority is seeking an Access Therapist to support individuals with SMI, SED, and I/DD in designated counties. You will screen, assess, and coordinate services, ensuring medical necessity and compliance with Medicaid guidelines while maintaining thorough documentation.

The role involves collaboration with healthcare providers, schools, courts, and community partners, plus on-call coverage and crisis interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology/Counseling and active MI license.
• Experience with Medicaid guidelines and clinical documentation is required.
• Strong crisis intervention and care coordination capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Conduct eligibility screenings, intake assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop person-centered treatment plans and provide service recommendations based on medical necessity.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Coordinate referrals to behavioral health, community, and insurance resources.
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in on-call coverage as assigned.

MSW (Licensed in Michigan)

MA in Psychology or Counseling (Licensed in Michigan)
