Job summary

Central Ozarks Medical Center is looking for an experienced leader to oversee Medical, Dental, Vision and Behavioral Health Access Coordinators and related operations at our Missouri locations.

The role focuses on staffing, training, patient access, data accuracy in EHR, and coordination across departments to ensure timely, high-quality care and patient experience. Strong supervisory and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: 2+ years front-end office experience and 2+ years medical billing preferred.
• Language skills: ability to respond professionally; good listening.
• Mathematical skills: ability to work with accounting concepts and budgets.
• Reasoning: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and coaching to Access Coordinators and staff.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and coverage across Access Coordinator functions.
• Assist onboarding, training, and development of Access Coordinators.
• Monitor patient access, service, and overall patient experience; address issues.
• Ensure accurate data collection and documentation in EHR and billing.
• Support revenue cycle by monitoring eligibility, collections, and fees.
• Promote policy compliance, workflow improvements, and audits.
